The World of Science

I believe that all students can learn science, it's all a matter of finding what works. Each student is unique as a snowflake and the learning process is tailored to each student's ability and talents.
My classroom is full of inquiry-based hands-on activities aimed at guiding students through their learning process. Vocabulary is learned through experiences gained in the labs.
All work is kept in a portfolio that is graded for organization and neatness. Grades are calculated from tests, quizzes, homework, class participation, lab activities, projects and more.
Class Rules
BE PREPARED - Bring all materials to class daily.
BE RESPECTFUL - Treat the teacher, other students and school property with respect.
BE POLITE - Please raise your hand if you would like to answer a question. Clean up after yourself and follow directions the first time they are given.
BE HONEST - Be sure that your work is your own!
BE PROFESSIONAL - No food, juice, gum or food in the classroom.
